After losing my mother in 2006 to an act of domestic violence, I soon realized that no one is immune to domestic violence. I wanted to not only shine a light on the issues of domestic violence, but to show others who might have lost a loved one that they will make it and can help make a difference. We created the Renee J. Bradley Foundation for Domestic Violence to do just that. Our motto is “Break the Silence, Break the Cycle” and our mission is to teach, mentor and educate young adults about the importance of healthy relationships and the signs of domestic violence. I believe working with the youth and showing them what healthy relationships look like is makes me a man of strength.
I see a man of strength as someone who is willing to stand up, speak out and make a difference in the fight against domestic violence.
